synopsis:
Ten ugly minutes with the ugly side. The Tenderloin, a prostitute, the writer William T. Vollman sketching, an invitation to join the fun; the result is what happens when a voyeuristic impulse reveals a vision of a world we prefer not to see. This film sits down and issues an invitation to simmer in outrage, disgust and worst of all, crawling awkwardness. The title grants permission to be disappointed in humanity and somehow, eventually, forgiving.
