Fatal Plus
1983, 3 minutes, 16mm B&W, sound
synopsis:
This earliest work is currently lost but never forgotten. This film was about the grisly work of euthanasia at an animal shelter in Chicago, specifically the routine killing of dogs. A formative example of what has developed into a lifetime habit of directing an audience to gaze into the great mysteries of life and death. Bright spirits, extinguished.
