synopsis:
Up above the land, in the clouds, borderless. Standing Rock on my mind.
The hypocrisy of the National Anthem for the United States and the situation that the indigenous people find themselves in here.
I was commissioned to make a three minute film by John Niekrasz to be projected at one point during his 2016 performance of Orchestra Becomes Radicalized. The musicians who played live were Holland Andrews, Jonathan Sielaff, Sage Fisher, Brian Mumford, Luke Wyland, Ben Kates, Maddy Villano, Andrew Jones and John Niekrasz.
I also think this piece stands silent.
