synopsis:
The childhood taunt describing a girl as being a ‘carpenter’s dream’ (flat as a board and never been nailed) is reversed in this vision of femininity offered by the simple placement of these 2 forest items against a flat, white wall. Flat As A Board (Knot) gives us a gentle, playful experience of the life force that roars through the universe.
